Burbidge ball and culloty
At this Tuesdays Till Two summer concert St John's are delighted to welcome back three of their most popular performers: pianist Bruce Burbidge, harpist Rowena Bass, and flutist Deirdre Culloty.
When: Tuesday 15th August
Where: St Johns Church, Church Street, Peterborough, PE1 1XB
Time: 1pm
They’ll be playing music by Donizetti and Damase, but the highlight of the programme will be the Mozart Flute and Harp Concerto, K299.
Programme:
Donizetti – Sonata for Flute and Piano
Damase – Sonatine pour deux harpes (2nd movement Andante)
Mozart – Concerto for Flute and Harp in C major, K299
As usual the St John's café will be open from noon, staffed by volunteers from The Green Backyard, and a selection of hot drinks and home made cakes, scones etc will be on sale with all profits going to support the work of The Green Backyard.
Admission to the event is free, but those attending the talks are asked to make a donation to help cover the costs of the event if possible. The suggested donation is £4.
